Since 2021, Elemental Concept has provided ongoing consulting services to our client, initially engaged for a short-term project that evolved into a long-term partnership. The client required expert support to complete and stabilise their financial reporting data warehouse.
The challenge:
After the departure of the original contract developer who had worked on the system for two years, the client needed a trusted partner to finalise the build, integrate additional systems, and ensure a smooth transition to production without disruption.
Our approach:
Elemental Concept stepped in to complete the financial reporting Data Warehouse built on the Azure SQL Data Warehouse platform. Working closely with the outgoing developer during a brief handover, we finalised system integrations, restructured the database schema to meet new business requirements, and managed the data migration. We also created a suite of SSRS reports to automatically generate month-end financial reports for board review.
The results:
The system was successfully taken into production and continues to operate reliably. Elemental Concept now provides ongoing support, issue resolution, and monthly database tuning to ensure optimal performance and stability, enabling consistent, automated financial reporting for the business.
