Our inclusion within the Champion Scheme comes at a pivotal moment for the UK’s professional services sector. With the Government’s recent Industrial Strategy backed by a significant £150 million investment to strengthen exports, increase British SME participation domestically and in international markets, strengthen the UK’s AI talent-base and enable broader SME digitalisation (Gov.uk), Elemental Concept believes that this is the right time to contribute perspectives from our global growth journey as an SME, and to strengthen the sector’s private-public collaboration.
Founded in 2016, we’ve built a 120-strong team across the UK, India, Singapore, Thailand, New Zealand, and Germany, with additional specialists in Australia, the US, Italy, South Africa, and Hong Kong. Some recent milestones include a £1.125 million growth-capital investment from Pentland Capital, the acquisition of New Zealand-based consultancy Purple Shirt, and the launch of our European entity in Germany, all of which highlight our commitment to, and alignment with, Government goals on SME growth, exports, and cross-border M&A (Press Release).
Joining the Applio Ventures SME Champion Scheme gives Elemental Concept a platform to share its experience in exports, cross-border M&A, and technology-led SME scaling with the wider policy community.
