Our client, a publicly listed biotech company developing transformative genome editing treatments, relied on a third-party platform to store critical DNA sequence data. To improve functionality, they needed to migrate this data to a new, internally controlled system that could serve as a central repository for research and development.
The challenge:
Due to restrictions within the legacy platform, the client could not directly export the full dataset of more than 30,000 records and associated metadata. With a strict commercial deadline and zero tolerance for data loss or delay, the project demanded precision, innovation, and speed.

Elemental Concept conducted two proof-of-concepts to validate the feasibility and accuracy of our custom data scraping and extraction methods. Once proven, these techniques were applied to securely extract and reconstruct the complete dataset. We also advised the client’s internal development team on designing a unified data architecture — a single source of truth that ensures proprietary genomic data remains accessible and future-proofed across systems.
