We partnered with Munich-based startup Orbit Health to design and build Neptune, a comprehensive, CE-compliant medical device ecosystem that leverages machine learning to transform Parkinson’s disease treatment.
The challenge:
Orbit Health needed a technology partner who could navigate the complex intersection of healthcare innovation, data protection and regulatory compliance. They required a solution that would meet the most demanding standards, delivering a powerful platform for patients, carers, physicians, and medical professionals to gain actionable insights into Parkinson’s disease treatment.
Our approach:
Leveraging the technical leadership from our Singapore and UK-based technical leads, and development strength from our Myanmar team, we designed, architected and built the suite of products to include a patient mobile application integrated with wearable medical devices and a clinician portal. We also architected and built the infrastructure in readiness for the most stringent certifications (GDPR, DIGA, CE mark for security and data privacy) currently obtainable in the digital health sector.
The result:
We successfully delivered a fully compliant, CE-ready medical device ecosystem that enabled Orbit Health to launch clinical studies in both Germany and Singapore on schedule. The Neptune platform now provides patients, carers, and medical professionals with machine learning-powered insights for Parkinson’s treatment while meeting all regulatory requirements for data protection and healthcare compliance.
